Pennsylvania Nurses
The Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing accepts courses from CE Leaders.
State Requirements
RNs must complete 30 contact hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 2 contact hours of approved child abuse recognition and reporting training. LPNs must complete 2 contact hours of approved child abuse recognition and reporting training every 2 years.
For the child abuse recognition and reporting training, you can go to the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center at https://www.reportabusepa.pitt.edu/ for a FREE 3 hour online course. The online training meets both Act 31 and Act 126 training requirements.
