Massachusetts Nurses
Our courses are American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) approved.
State Requirements
RNs and LPNs must complete 15 contact hours of continuing education every 2 years. There is also a 1-time requirement at license renewal to complete a course of training and education in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with cognitive impairments, including, but not limited to, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. This course must be completed by November 7, 2022.
Important: According to the nursing regulations in 244 CMR 5.00: Continuing Education, self-study courses should include a test to indicate progress. Our courses have a Self Assessment section with answers listed at the bottom. Make sure you grade yourself before marking the Self Assessment section as complete.
