Ohio Nurse Practice Act
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this course is to educate health care professionals on the basic laws and rules that govern Ohio nurses in order improve compliance and the quality of patient care. After completing this course, you will be able to:
1. Identify the makeup and functions of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
2. Identify the differences between registered and licensed practical nurses.
3. Identify the standards of practice for registered and licensed practical nurses.
4. Identify nursing violations for registered and licensed practical nurses.
*The material in this course is specific to Ohio but this course is ANCC approved so any RN or LPN/LVN can complete this course and receive credit for it.
